Now that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are back on again again again, it’s time to revive the marriage rumors. According to Entertainment Wise (not always the most reliable source, so grain of salt and all that), Ronson is planning on proposing to Lohan to put all their past problems behind them. Nothing erases all your issues like a walk down the aisle, right?

Samantha Ronson is reportedly planning on asking for Lindsay Lohan’s hand in marriage so they can put all their woes behind them.

The couple spent time apart after a series of major busts up over New Years, sparking rumours that they had called time on their romance.

But a US tabloid report claims the pair are fed up with the constant negative press about their relationship, and want a fresh start.

A source tells the National Enquirer, “She wants to put the acrimony of the past behind them so they can start fresh as a married couple.

“Lindsay wants Sam to completely stop talking to her old girlfriends and cut off family members who don’t like Lindsay – and that’s most of Sam’s family.

“They see how much Sam and Lindsay fight and believe their relationship is toxic.”

This sounds like a marriage made in heaven. They have a long, dramatic history of possessiveness and hysterical fighting. Their family members and friends don’t like their union, and think they’re toxic together. Throw in an unplanned pregnancy (which would certainly be shocking given the logistics of their match), and you’ve got the most important ingredients for a successful marriage. In fact, nothing says, “let’s grow old together,” like dramatic fighting, crying, and throwing things.

Really, I find Lohan and Ronson’s relationship fascinating, and I don’t want them to break up – if for no other reason than my entertainment. But obviously they shouldn’t get married. I’ve said that during all the other 346 rounds of “they’re getting married” rumors, and that was before they were having this level of crazy fights, and when their families did still approve of their relationship. Now that that’s all gone down the tubes, it’s probably time for them to just chill and see if they have enough to sustain a regular dating relationship. Besides, we all know marriage shouldn’t happen until the sex goes bad.
