Miley Cyrus has long said she’s a huge fan of “Sex and the City.” In fact at the tender age of 15 she said she wanted “Hannah Montana” to be more like the raunchy HBO comedy. I think girls her age – and let’s be honest, some older girls too – think of the show as the ultimate in adult sophistication. It’s got New York City, fancy shoes, fun parties, and some gorgeous apartments. And it’s an all-around fun show. It just wouldn’t translate well for tweens – believe me, I’ve seen the sanitized version on the WB. Sorta dull.

While Miley never got to live her desired Carrie Bradshaw-like existence on “Hannah Montana,” she may get some version of her dream – a small spot in the movie, according to MSNBC. Nothing’s confirmed yet, and almost everything about the film has been a tightly guarded secret. But it sounds like it could be legit.

Plot details from “Sex and the City: The Movie” were exceedingly difficult to come by during the film’s production, so it’s not surprising that the sequel’s story lines are similarly well-guarded. However, a look at the show’s shooting schedule provides some clues to what might be in store.

First up: Looks like there could be a gay wedding. Life & Style is reporting that the shooting schedule calls for a wedding scene to take place at a Connecticut Inn, and the guest list includes Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, plus Carrie’s pal Stanford Blatch and his mother and father.

“All signs point to a gay union between Stanford and Anthony Marentino, who’s required to wear a black tuxedo in the scene,” according to the magazine. “Slated as the entertainment: Liza Minnelli.”

Also, it looks like the women of “SATC” were too much for Dubai — the film was considered too racy to be shot there. Instead, the production will head to Morocco, according to L&S, and they’ll shoot in Erfoud, Rabat and Marrakech.

And finally: As if there wasn’t enough talk about Miley Cyrus growing up too fast, set insiders are saying Cyrus has been approached for a guest role in the film.

“She hasn’t confirmed,” according to the insider who spoke to L&S.

I wonder what role they might have Miley play? She seems too young to pull off anything but a teenager. Maybe a younger version of one of the ladies? Last week they filmed some scenes that either looked like flashbacks or like they were heading to some sort of eighties party. I can’t really see Miley looking enough like any of the women to pull that off though. She’s got dark hair like Charlotte but that’s about it. I doubt it’ll be anything too big, but they did a nice job with Jennifer Hudson’s character and little side story in the first film, so whatever it is I’m sure it’ll be fun. But I’m guessing they’ll make sure to limit the roll – given all the reports of fighting over the years, it doesn’t seem like any of the actresses would take too kindly to a bunch of “Hannah Montana” fans clogging up the theater.
