This is Heidi Klum’s April Marie Claire cover. As fans of Project Runway know, Heidi is wearing a beautiful turquoise one-shoulder cocktail dress designed by one of the designers competing in this season’s PR. They actually made the cover outfit a challenge for the designers, and a dude named Anthony Williams won. I actually agreed with the judges’ decision that time around, and you can see why. This color and style just pops on the Marie Claire cover, and it feels very “fresh”. Plus, you know, it’s really hard for Heidi to take a bad photo. Well done!

Anyway, it doesn’t look like there are any significant interview excerpts. Williams, the designer, told the magazine: “Heidi’s pregnancy was happening right before our faces! he laughs. I thought, this woman is not sacrificing fashion at all. She is 100 percent full frontal ‘I am pregnant, I am fashion, and I am fierce.’ I was really inspired by that.” Here’s one short excerpt from Marie Claire:

Nice. Something I’ve noticed about Heidi through watching all of the seasons of PR is that she’s gotten much more vocal and opinionated about fashion and everything else. I think she’s really come into her own throughout the series, and I hope PR continues for years to come.

Sidenote: I forgot to mention this in the Oscar fashion posts, but Chris March from Season 4 not only designed Meryl Streep’s Golden Globes dress, but her Oscar dress as well! Sigh… I love PR!

Because we were having technical difficulties for a few hours, I kind of missed reporting on Jessica Simpson’s appearance on Letterman last night. Sidenote: I hate her outfit. Anyway, I didn’t watch it, but I’ve read some of the coverage of it. Basically, Letterman got Jessica to talk about everything, from Tony Romo, to John Mayer, to… whatever. Here’s the video and some of quotes:

Why was Jessica Simpson most upset by John Mayer’s revealing Playboy interview (in which he called her “sexual napalm”)?

“He gave away my game!” the star, 29, tells David Letterman on the Late Show, airing Wednesday.

“Normally you would think that somebody you care about would keep those intimate details to themselves,” she says. “It was definitely compliment … in a way. But I don’t really want people to know that about me. It’s like, I’m the good girl and then that happens.”

Although she says she “was very disappointed by the article” and hasn’t talked to him since it was published, she does say she “will always care about him.”

The star of VH1’s new reality show The Price of Beauty also opens up about her ex Tony Romo, who she says is “still a dear friend of mine” even though they split after two years of dating this past July.

“We’re big Dallas Cowboys fans,” she says of the Texas-based Simpson clan. “I still look at his cute butt in the outfit — uniform!”

So, what went wrong?

“I don’t know,” she says. “You’d have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday!”

Yeah. Meh. As much as I like Jessica, I do get tired of her sometimes, like when she’s promoting something. Although she’s a sweet girl, there’s such a lack of substance in her, it’s kind of disturbing. But whatever. I’m sure I’ll get over it.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s “special friend” Billy Corgan was talking about Jessica’s ex John Mayer. This came from Billy’s epic interview in Rolling Stone Magazine, which we had excerpts of last week. Us Weekly has published some of Billy’s quotes under the idea that he’s “slamming” Mayer. But that’s not actually what he’s doing. Corgan’s just kind of properly identifying John’s douchiness.

Corgan says: “[Mayer is] trying to destroy his career… Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction, some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up. Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground speaking as somebody who’s done it.” Regarding Mayer’s specific comments about Napalm McMotorboat, Corgan says: “I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on. There’s things that should just be left alone.” See? These quotes make me like Corgan more. He’s right - Mayer is being self-destructive, under the guise of douchey misogyny. Now, I think Mayer is also, at heart, a douchey misogynist. But the fact that he didn’t know how to hide it is self-destructive.

Well, this was expected. A pose off! Cue Zoolander soundtrack. No, it’s fine. Here’s Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler at today’s Bounty Hunter premiere in London. She’s wearing some kind of gray-silver minidress with a black coat, he’s wearing a nice gray suit. They make a very attractive middle-aged couple. Since yesterday was a day for two big AnisBut posts (their W Magazine cover and Gerard talking about some bush-trimming), I’m just going to make up my own captions for these photos.

Finally, the full trailer for Eclipse is out! And it’s kind of meh. Needs more Sparkles, in my opinion. But it’s good, I guess. It leaves you hungry, wanting more. The Twihards will have a field day. This is also the first time we get to see Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaced Rachelle Lefevre as one of the bad vampires. And there’s lots of Jacob, who apparently, like, never wears a shirt. Well, the wait is over: The first trailer for Eclipse – the third film in The Twilight Saga – was officially unveiled Wednesday morning, providing a much-hungered-for first look at what’s in store for the supernatural couple. Plus, the clip gives viewers a first look at the new Rachel: Bryce Dallas Howard in a fierce set of red curls!

Eclipse is due to hit theaters June 30, but for fan-pires lusting for an immediate quench to their thirst, pick up New Moon on DVD March 20 or check out Pattinson’s latest film, Remember Me, in theaters Friday.

LaineyGossip claimed that Twihards were going to be seeing Remember Me in droves, all to support Sparkles in every non-Cullen adventure. Which is the kind of epic, fanatical fan base most studios dream of. I can only imagine that this “meh” trailer will be watched obsessively about a bajillion times today. And tomorrow. And the next day…
