Scarlett: “I’m Engaged to Obama!”

Shrugging off ridiculous rumors that she and boyfriend Ryan Reynolds are engaged, Scarlett Johansson told the Associated Press that her intentions lie with another famous fella — presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

“I’m engaged to Barack Obama,” she joked in an interview following her return from Kuwait, where she’d been visiting U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East. “My heart belongs to Barack. That is who I am currently, finally, engaged to.”

Earlier this week, Scarlett’s rep spoke to OK! in an attempt to put a stop to the Ryan Reynolds rumors, saying there was “no truth” to a NY Daily News item claiming the couple were making plans to walk down the aisle.

Scarlett Johansson: Diva Alert!

They’re just not that into Scarlett Johansson on the L.A. set of He’s Just Not That Into You.

A source tells Us that on her first day, the star, 22, had a driver shuttle her the 100 yards to the set, while costar Drew Barrymore simply walked the distance. (Johansson also asked for three assistants to shield her with umbrellas.)

“Scarlett’s a total diva,” the insider tells Us. “Some people are cool, and others are not.”

A production source says, “We prefer talent use vans when filming on public streets, and Scarlett has only been professional.”

‘Nanny Diaries’ Costars Dish on Scarlett Johannson

OK! reveals six things you need to know about Scarlett Johannson, 22, courtesy of her costars in The Nanny Diaries, in theaters August 24.

SHE TAKES HER COSTARS HOME WITH HER
“I slept over at Scarlett’s,” her costar Nicolas Art, 8, told OK! “We got Subway, then we had chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and then we watched the movie Beetlejuice. We had such a good time. We became good friends.”

SHE LOVES HER FAMILY
“She has a great relationship with her own mom,” her onscreen mom Donna Murphy told OK! “I saw her as this hot young starlet who seemed to be everywhere at all the parties. That’s what I’d see of her on TV or in a magazine article. She took a day off to be with a sibling who was graduating. I don’t know if it was her twin brother or her other brother. She’s very tight with her family. Even though I’m in the business and I know we’re all human beings, you don’t learn the particulars of that aspect until you’re fortunate enough to work with them or meet them.”

SHE’S CALM AND COLLECTED UNDER PRESSURE
“I was in awe of how she dealt with paparazzi,” Donna continued. “There were paparazzi everywhere. Because we were shooting on location in New York, every time she walked out of her trailer, there were a lot of people who wanted to talk to her and take pictures of her. She dealt with it very well. Other times, she had to draw a certain line because she had work to do. I just thought ‘she’s so grounded about it.’ It was really a whirlwind time. She had two or three films that were being released in the time that we were shooting. I greatly admired her, and I really enjoyed working with her because she was so present and open.”

SHE’S SMART, SEXY AND DOWN-TO-EARTH
“Scarlett is amazing,” Laura Linney, who plays the frazzled mother, told OK! “She has this colossal career, which for anyone at any age would be remarkable. She’s in her early twenties. She’s dealing with being an A-list actress, she has makeup stuff, she has her modeling, she’s a mogul. She has a clothing line, she has a lipstick, it’s wild. I could never do that. It’s amazing to see her negotiate it all. She’s stunningly beautiful. She’s like a big, ripe peach. She’s beautiful, beautiful. What you see is what you get. She doesn’t have a lot of airs.”

SHE’S HILARIOUS
“She’s witty and smart, and has this old soul quality for such a young woman,” director Robert Pulcini told OK! “You can’t get the funnier jokes in because she always tops you. For such a young person, she’s very quick with the one-upping with the humor. I can see why Woody Allen likes to be around her, too, because she’s so funny.”

SHE GIVES BACK
“She was amazing with Nick Art,” director Shari Springer Berman told OK! “She was a child actress, so she immediately took him under her wing and saw this young boy and just really bonded with him. She took him to the aquarium and hung out with him so they’d have a connection. She’d help him with lines. She really was wonderful with him and they got along really well. They went to Coney Island and she bought him a hot dog at Nathan’s. I think he ate too many, and he almost puked. She was saying ‘it’s so cool watching this little boy learn how to act.’ He got more and more professional. Scarlett said it reminded her of herself when she was younger and learning how to act.”

Scarlett Johansson: Not Playing a Porn Star

Despite circulating reports and Jenna Jameson’s hopes that the actress is just the right mix of sexy and mysterious, Scarlett Johansson will not portray the porn star in the film adaptation of her autobiography.

“Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project,” says a rep for the actress. “She also has no interest in playing this role.”

Speaking with PEOPLE at the Comic Con convention in San Diego this weekend, Jameson, 33, said she was smitten with the 22-year-old Johansson after seeing her Golden Globe-nominated turn in the 2003 film Lost in Translation.

“I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy,” Jameson said. “I was like, ‘This girl could play me.’ ”

Though she has met Johansson only briefly, Jameson said the encounter left quite an impression. “I love her,” Jameson said. “She’s amazing. She’s smart, she’s funny. … She’s stunning.”
