Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag Have Dance Off

Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag are now at war … on the dance floor.

Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth hit Hollywood hot spot Goa early Friday around midnight to film scenes for the upcoming season of their MTV mega-hit.

Around 1 a.m. Montag — who tells the new issue of Us Weekly that she has called off her wedding to Spencer Pratt — showed up with Pratt’s sister Stephanie. Though Conrad ignored them, “Audrina came over and hugged and chatted with Heidi,” the witness told Usmagazine.com.

Wearing a short, patterned dress, black tights and black leather jacket, Montag and Pratt set up shop at a table next to Conrad and her pals.

“Lauren and Heidi were literally almost back to back and not speaking,” the onlooker told Us.

Conrad and co then hit the dance floor to 80s music. “Lauren danced with a tall blonde guy and all of them were waving their drinks in the air,” says the on-looker.

Ten minutes later, Montag hit the floor to Dr. Dre’s “Next Episode” — only to be followed up a short time later by Patridge and Conrad who took over the dance floor to “Piece of Me” by Britney Spears and “Rumors” by Lindsay Lohan.

Lauren: The Worst Pick-Up Lines She’s Ever Heard

Ever think that Hills star Lauren Conrad is too picky about guys? Maybe it’s due to the awful passes she’s been subjected to!

“Pickup lines have become so cheesy, people hear them as a joke now,” Conrad, 21, says in the new issue of Us Weekly.

Some of the worst pickup lines she’s heard? “A guy the other day said, ‘You’re a smoking babe and I think you should call me,’ and handed me his number,” Conrad says, adding, “I just wonder if that’s ever actually worked. ‘Smoking babe’?”

And there’s worse!

“I had a guy come up to me and ask for a Band-Aid and I said, ‘No, I don’t have a Band-Aid.’ Then he said, ‘You’re supposed to ask me why,’” she tells Us.

When the ever-friendly Conrad played along and asked him, the pickup artist replied, “Because I scraped my knee when I fell for you.” Conrad recalls, “I didn’t understand it. I was like, ‘Did you really fall?’”

Still, Conrad realizes it can be intimidating for anyone — including herself — to approach members of the opposite sex. She admits, “I’ve pretended to know a guy before” in order to get his attention. “I said, ‘I think I know you from somewhere.’”

Adds Conrad, “It’s hard to walk up to someone out of nowhere and be like, ‘Hi, I’m Lauren.’”

Tell Us: What’s the worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?

When Bon Jovi’s “Livin on a Prayer” came on, “she sang along and grabbed Ben’s hand and pretended to dance with him,” the witness adds.

Clad in a black, high-waisted pencil skirt with her hair in a bun (very sexy secretary!), “she seemed to be really good friends with Ben and was in a good mood laughing with her friends,” the witness says.

Stephen Colletti Back With Lauren Conrad

Looks like Hayden Panettiere ’s ex Stephen Colletti isn’t shedding any more tears over their recent break-up. The former reality stud was spotted out on the town with former love Lauren Conrad. The couple attended a party together for Hornitos Tequila at Hollywood hotspot Opera Thursday night, September 20.

“Stephen and Lauren definitely looked like an item, ” a source tells Star. “They hung out together the entire time and at one point, Stephen grabbed Lauren and took her out to the dance floor, where they danced to the song ‘One More Time. ‘ They were laughing and flirting. They looked really happy and cute together.”

Stephen and Lauren dated while on the hit show Laguna Beach. After the couple graduated in 2005, they moved to San Francisco, where they both attended college. LC studied fashion at The Academy of Art University, while Stephen majored in communications at San Francisco State University.

After one semester, Lauren returned to Southern California and six months later, Stephen followed her.

Stephen completed one year at San Francisco State and then decided to return to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

Lauren whose birthday is just 6 days before Stephen’s (both turned 21 in February, Lauren February 1 and Stephen Feb 7 ) admitted in August that she was having boy troubles. “Dating is not that easy. The type of guy I want to date is not the type of guy who wants to be on a reality show,” said the reality star.

Now that Stephen is no longer on a reality show, he might just be the perfect match for LC!

Lauren Conrad Almost Quit The Hills Over Heidi Feud

Disappointed with the behavior of her costars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Lauren Conrad says she almost bailed on The Hills before the current season began.

“I actually came dangerously close to not doing season three, because I really didn’t want to do the show with Heidi and Spencer,” the reality TV star tells Seventeen magazine in its October issue. “I’m not who they are. I don’t stage my own publicity. I just kind of live my life and do my job, and I don’t want to be grouped with them.”

Conrad, 21, says MTV argued that all the characters needed to return for the show to work.

The network said “Heidi and Spencer were always a part of the show, and they can’t all of a sudden make main characters disappear,” Conrad says. “And so we continue to follow their lives, and the producers keep letting Heidi and Spencer think there’s some hope [that we’ll make up].”

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show recently, Conrad said Montag is not the same person she used to know. In the Seventeen interview, she reflects on her broken friendship, and puts much of the blame on the reckless pursuit of fame.

“Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just to get a little bit of the spotlight,” Conrad says. “They just want to become famous so badly, and that’s never really made sense to me. I mean, it’s fun to go out and do stuff in Hollywood, but if it was gone tomorrow, I really wouldn’t be disappointed.”

The former friends fell out after Conrad accused Montag and Pratt of spreading a rumor about a sex tape involving Conrad and her ex, Jason Wahler. Conrad says no such tape exists.

On a lighter note, Conrad also reveals to Seventeen a little bit about her dating habits.

“I don’t kiss on the first date,” she says. “My friends always make fun of me for that! But I will hold hands.”

MTV Joins Lauren Conrad’s Fashion Line!

The Hills starlet Lauren Conrad, who plays herself on the hit MTV show, is looking to extend her 15 minutes of fame into an entirely new dimension. The 21-year-old babe has dazzled MTV so much that the prominent network is looking to partner up in her upcoming fashion line.

“This is really a unique situation for us,” says Lisa Silfen, senior president of program enterprise at MTV to Women’s Wear Daily. “It seems like a natural extension to us [to partner with Conrad].”

MTV refused to reveal exactly how much they are willing to invest in the Lauren Conrad Collection, but critics agree that this power play may be the beginning of something completely innovative!

“I really think reality [TV] is going to be the breeding ground for mega brands,” said Maggie Dumais, a licensing agent for Creative Artists Agency.

Conrad’s 10-piece collection will be available on shoplaurenconrad.com on Sept. 15, and will mostly be made up of youthful and flirty frocks.

“The clothes are pretty feminine,” said Conrad of her designs. “They’re very comfortable and easy to move in…The peaces are clean. I did that on purpose. I like to accessorize. You can buy a simple dress and accessorize.”

In addition to her clothing line, Conrad is also unveiling clutches and hangbags produced by Los Angeles-based accessories brand Linea Pelle.

“I’ve always wanted a clothing line,” says the young Laguna Beach alum who is a fashion student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising as well as an intern for Teen Vogue. “This is my first collection and I do really want to make a very good impression.”

Hills Watch: LC Finds a New Spencer to Hate

Can’t Lauren Conrad find a roommate with a boyfriend who doesn’t turn her into a motherly nag?

Our Hills star found herself staring down a Heidi-and-Spencer-like situation on Monday night’s episode, in the form of roomie Audrina and her newly on-again boyfriend, Justin. His friends call him Bobby, but after his standoffish meeting with LC, she will likely have less-nice nicknames for him. Belching, hiding under a hood and telling Conrad he doesn’t care about her opinion, Justin proved worthy competition for Spencer Pratt as MTV’s jerkiest reality boy.

And yet, despite her discomfort and (apparent) desire not to hurt Lauren, Audrina found herself back with the motorcycle-riding bad boy by the episode’s end, agreeing to “take him as he is” and, as he put it, “let truth and time tell all.” Aww. We can’t blame Audrina for giving Justin-Bobby another go around after he displayed depth like that — after all, it was such a good line they named the episode after it! But will LC be as forgiving? Uh, just ask Heidi!

Meanwhile, in other dysfunctional-relationships-that-LC-doesn’t-approve-of news, the newly engaged Heidi and Spencer (let’s call them “Speidi”) attempted to set the ground rules in their relationship through passive-aggressive home decorating techniques. After Spencer “surprised” Heidi with a graffiti-splashed living room wall and a dining room filled with arcade games, Heidi decided to give him a surprise of his own — greeting him with a fresh paint job over his “artwork.”

As Pratt fumed, Montag explained that if they plan to make this engagement thing work, they need to make decisions together. A still-angry Spencer sarcastically agreed as he stared forlornly at his once-tagged wall. Maybe he was having second thoughts about his earlier admission to Brody that he was done seeing marriage as an institution for dumb guys who can’t get laid.

Next week: Spencer ditches a Brody barbecue to meet Heidi’s parents, Brody and LC commiserate over their lost friendships, and Audrina encounters more drama with Justin-Bobby.

Exclusive: Lauren: I Promise Not To Sing!

The Hills are alive with the sound of music as Heidi Montag’s song ”Body Language” (featuring Spencer Pratt rapping!) premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show - but don’t expect Heidi’s archnemesis Lauren Conrad to record a response track anytime soon. “I promise you: I’ll never release an album!” Lauren tells In Touch. “I don’t really have very many talents! I’m okay with it, though. I think as far as the entertainment industry is concerned, the abilities to act and sing are something you are born with or have to work very hard at, and I don’t have either talent, so I’m not going to pretend like I do!”

Lauren Conrad: I Don’t Even Know Heidi Anymore

Lauren Conrad’s well-documented feud with fellow Hills star and former-BFF, Heidi Montag, is still going strong, but Conrad says she misses some things about her old pal.

“I miss her personality – because she is not the same person anymore,” Conrad said Wednesday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “I was best friends with her for two years and now I feel like I don’t even know the same person anymore.”

The fight originated after rumors spread that Conrad had made a sex tape with her ex-boyfriend, Jason Wahler – rumors which she believes Montag, 20, and her fiancé Spencer Pratt started. Conrad, 21, denies she ever made such a tape.

And their famous fights on TV are real, she says. “I wouldn’t fight for the camera,” she said. “If anything I would try not to.”

Asked if she thinks the duo will pull a Paris and Nicole and eventually make up, Conrad answered: “I mean I don’t think so, you never know though. Probably not. I can see us getting to not hating each other but I don’t think we would ever go back to being best friends.”
