Want to know the hardest part about maintaining a relationship with Kim Kardashian? She thinks it’s putting up with the paparazzi.

Kardashian, 27, admits to SI.com that her boyfriend, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, 23, hates the pesky paps but is managing to cope – just as she’s learning about football.

“We try to be super low key,” Kardashian tells the Extra Mustard column. “We know if we go to an event, we’re gonna be photographed, but he’ll still say ‘ugh, I don’t want to go.’ ”

Besides, she says, “He really only gets annoyed when we’re out and about and we get followed.”

Part of the Job
Since part of Kardashian’s job – starring on the second season of her reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians – is being trailed by cameras, she says they’ve kept his involvement in the show to a minimum.

“He’s such a big part of my life that you can’t not be on the show if you’re in my life,” she says. “I’m glad we filmed the show during his season, because he was only on every now and then.”

As for her supporting his career, she reveals the sport is new to her. “I’m a Saints fan and I’m a Reggie fan. I’m just becoming a football fan,” she says. And she doesn’t mind that the gridiron is his No. 1 priority.

“I definitely think we get along because my work is so important to me right now and football is so important to him,” she says. “We both know what’s important.”

Kim Kardashian is filming her efforts to recover her camera, computer and other belongings worth $50,000 stolen at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport for season two of her reality show.

“I am pissed. I want my stuff back,” Kardashian, 27, told Ryan Seacreast on his KIIS-FM radio show Friday.

The star of E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians says she was also miffed at reports suggesting she faked the robbery for publicity.

“So then I got the police department on the phone and I have my whole day ahead of me to make all these calls and get the [E!] cameras over there,” she says.

Just because Kim Kardashian is the cover girl for the December issue of Playboy doesn’t mean that she’s a wild child. “I don’t even drink alcohol,” says Kardashian, star of the new E! reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians (Sundays at 10:30 p.m.).

Regarding her Playboy shoot (an exclusive on-set outtake, left), Kardashian, who turns 27 on Sunday, tells Usmagazine.com that “it’s not a nude photo-shoot by any stretch.”

Kardashian talked to Us on the eve of her big Hollywood birthday bash at club Les Deux to talk about everything from her new show to why she and Paris Hilton are no longer BFFs.

Us: How revealing is your Playboy shoot?
Kim Kardashian: It is not as revealing as some people might want. I keep it classy and covered up. I do bare my whole butt. And a little bit of my chest. But that’s it. It was something that I was really nervous about doing at first and this is the first time I am talking about it. I consulted the whole family and I decided this is the way I would have wanted it to come out.

Us: What’s it like having cameras around you 24-7 while filming your reality show?
KK: I think we are used to it now. I am really excited because I feel like there are so many misconceptions of what us Hollywood girls are really like. We are so different from what people would think and I think everyone is going to be shocked.

Us: What are some of the misconceptions?
KK: Everyone thinks that I am this wild party girl and that I get drunk and dance on tables, but I don’t even drink alcohol. We [she and sisters Khloe and Kourtney] own businesses and we work every single day and we have 10 kids in the family and we did not grow up with nannies.

Us: Are you dating [NFL running back] Reggie Bush?
KK: We’re really close friends. He’s such an amazing guy! But between me being busy with the new show, and his being in the middle of the football season, it’s not like I have time to dedicate myself to a relationship right now anyway.

Us: Why don’t you and Paris Hilton hang out anymore?
KK: I love Paris. We grew up together, but friends drift apart and we just don’t hang out like we used to. Maybe someday we will again.

Us: You briefly dated Nick Lachey in 2006. Have you seen him since he met Vanessa Minnillo?
KK: I ran into him once earlier this year at a club. He’s always a gentleman. We only went on a few dates a long time ago. It’s not like we have to be uncomfortable.
