Cover Story: Jen & Orlando Heat Things Up

At a March 25 charity event at hot new L.A. eatery Beso (owned by Eva Longoria Parker), Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom were two of several A-list stars who came out to support a good cause. But witnesses at the restaurant tell OK! the pair was adding more than their fair share of spice to the party!

“They were like heat-seeking missiles,” one eyewitness reveals to OK!. “They came together, threw their arms around each other and shared a big hug.” Adds another attendee at the event, “I saw them in a booth next to each other and Jen was looking at Orlando like he was her favorite person in the world. She looked like she wanted to grab him and make out with him!”

Also in attendance: Jen’s BFF Courteney Cox and her hubby, David Arquette, Jessica Simpson, Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria Parker. The gathering was all to help raise funds for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.

But this event isn’t the first time Jen, 39, has displayed what sources call a “serious crush” on the adorable Orlando. The pair have known each other since 2003, when the British hunk signed on to play Prince Paris opposite Brad Pitt’s Achilles in the epic big-screen dud Troy.

Jen’s Mystery Man Revealed

Last week, Jennifer Aniston was spotted leaving BFF Courteney Cox’s house with a handsome hunk who no one could immediately identify — until now.

OK! has learned that the fetching fella pictured riding shotgun in Jen’s car that evening is
Brian Bourma, a key grip on the actress’ latest film. “They met on the set of Traveling in Vancouver, where he was in charge of moving lights and other heavy equipment,” one insider reveals to OK!. “He’s actually quite a ladies’ man. He’s dated actresses before.”

But the sources says Brian is doing his best to keep in touch with Jen and is even planning a visit to Miami, where the former Mrs. Brad Pitt just started filming Marley & Me with Owen Wilson.

The Canadian cutie played coy about his relationship with the former Friends star, telling OK!, “I don’t want to talk about that…”

Jen no fan of Clooney??

Oscar winner George Clooney certainly has his fair share of female fans, but OK! has learned you probably shouldn’t count Jennifer Aniston among them!

The handsome Michael Clayton star — who just happens to be best buds with Jen’s ex Brad Pitt — sauntered up to the actress at last Saturday’s Night Before gala in Beverly Hills, where she was busy chatting with BFF Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Orlando Bloom, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan, outside of Bar Nineteen12.

“George attempted to be friendly, but Jen wasn’t having it,” one eyewitness tells OK!. “After enduring a few minutes of the actor’s presence, Jen turned on her heels and made a beeline for the Sunset Ballroom, where most of the guests were mingling.”

Courteney, naturally, joined Jen, leaving her affable husband, David, to make awkward small talk with George!

Angelina Snaps When Asked About Competing Aniston W Mag Cover

Angelina is so over all those Jennifer Aniston comparisons.

The pair had avoided being pitted against each other for some time — that is, until November’s W magazine hit stands. Editors had released nine versions of the issue — including one of Jolie, 32, as the cover girl and another of Aniston, 38.

“Why would I comment on that?” Jolie snapped when asked about it at a Beverly Hills press conference for her upcoming flick Beowulf Saturday. “That matters because….”

(Jolie had previously told Vogue that she is open to meeting Aniston. “That would be her decision, and I would welcome it.”)

Jolie was less guarded when it came to revealing her Thanksgiving plans with beau Brad Pitt and their four children on Good Morning America November 5.

Her fixings this year?

“Everything, but I’m not much of a cook, so we’ll see what happens,” she said. “We all chip in, but I… don’t think anybody in my family wants me to handle Thanksgiving dinner.”

With her culturally diverse brood, she says, it’s almost always a holiday at the Jolie-Pitt house.

“We celebrate Moon Festival for my boys, who are from Asia, and Kwanzaa and things like that,” she said, “so we certainly try to celebrate as many of those as we can and bring in all cultures.”

Jen Aniston Weds Woody Harrelson!

Only weeks after walking down the aisle for her upcoming film He’s Just Not That Into You, Jen Aniston was doing it all over again on Tuesday, as the sexy and single star filmed yet another wedding sequence — this time with co-star Woody Harrelson — for the film Management.

The pair filmed the scene in the picturesque Willamette Valley in Portland, Ore., on Tuesday for the movie, reportedly about a woman being hassled by an obsessive hotel manager.

Given that Jen’s film The Break-Up ultimately ended with her and co-star Vince Vaughn enduring a rather public split, here’s hoping that Jen’s recent spate of wedding-related pics will see her walking down the aisle with a real Mr. Right.

Jennifer Aniston: I’m Tired of L.A.

After taking a two-year hiatus, Jennifer Aniston is back to work on her new film He’s Just Not That Into You. In the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the 38-year-old actress reflects on a possible move to New York, her inner Oprah, and who in Hollywood she’d like to have an affair with (hint: The name is Bond, James Bond). The mag, celebrating its 140th anniversary, doesn’t hit newsstands until October 23 but see interview higlights below for a sneak peek…

On how she would like this story to begin:
“I’m ba-ack.”

On her previous movie roles as a checkout chick in The Good Girl and a broke, pot-smoking maid in Friends with Money:
“I like those roles. I feel comfortable with them. They’re more real. People can say, ‘Oh, I have relatives like that, I dated a guy like that, or I have a friend like that.’ They’re relatable.”

On what the public says about her:
“I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought. But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinized and my personal life was being talked about. You have to go, ‘This is not acceptable in any way,’ whether it’s about me personally or in business, success versus failure. It’s so negative. It’s such bizarre negativity.”

On living a day as someone else:
“I would love to be Oprah – for just one day.”

If she worked in the government:
“I’d be a spy. A very glamorous spy who plays poker and lives in Monaco. And has affairs with Daniel Craig.”

On a possible move to New York:
“I can actually visualize it again, for some reason. I don’t know, I’m just tired of Los Angeles. In New York, you’re not just in that same car, looking at that same dashboard, driving down the same street.”

On walking 40 blocks in New York and nobody noticing her:
“If you can get away from the paparazzi and they don’t know where you are, you can actually walk, walk, walk.”

On critiques of her box-office performance:
“I’ve read things that said I wasn’t successful at the box office or that my big hit was The Break-Up. But I said, ‘Wait a minute. There was Along Came Polly, which did really well, and Bruce Almighty was a pretty big movie.’ But they’ll single out Derailed or Rumor Has It, movies that didn’t do well, in order to support their agenda.”

On Friends:
“I don’t think anybody thought Friends would become what it did. It’s all good, though. It’s nothing but blessings. But seriously, who actually dances in a fountain?”

Jen Aniston Stays at Joe Francis’ House With Orlando Bloom (And No, They Aren’t Dating)

Much has been made of Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom’s supposed “weekend getaway” to Mexico, but sources tell Usmagazine.com that the two are purely platonic.

Aniston, 38, and Bloom, 30, were photographed on September 30 in Punta Mita, Mexico, lounging in the sun at Casa Aramara, the $25 million mansion owned by Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis. However, they were only in down to attend the nuptials of manager pal Todd Deiner.

“They’re just friends,” an insider tells Us. “Two people who were in Mexico for a friend’s wedding who happened to stay in the same place. There were many other people staying there. It wasn’t some romantic getaway.”

The New Bennifer!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston got married on September 21 in L.A.’s San Pedro neighborhood. And the matchmaking credit goes to…the upcoming romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You, in which they play a longtime couple grappling with commitment issues.

“Jennifer is perfect for the role because there’s no coldness to her,” producer Nancy Juvonen tells Us. “She’s so real.”

And how is the chemistry with the new Bennifer? “They are fabulous and touching,” Juvonen says: “I can’t believe no one’s put them together before.”

For the actors, the sure-to-be-a crowd-pleaser (which also stars Drew Barrymore and her current squeeze, Justin Long, and is based on the 2004 bestseller) is the latest stop on their comeback tours: Aniston last appeared onscreen in the 2006 hit The Break-Up, and Affleck is receiving early Oscar buzz for his directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone (out October 19). Says a source, “They are having a great time working together.”

Jen Aniston’s Big Wedding Day

The scene on Thursday afternoon was filled with joy and emotion — and Jennifer Aniston couldn’t have looked more radiant as she walked down the aisle… for her upcoming film, He’s Just Not That Into You, her first film since breaking up with her The Break-Up co-star Vince Vaughn.

And those on hand for the faux blessed event were left with the distinct impression that the former Mrs. Brad Pitt finally seems ready to take the matrimonial plunge once more. “Jen looked so happy,” a set insider reveals to OK!. “She was laughing and joking; her smile was radiant. And her hair, well it was her typical perfection — straight and shining in the sun. She looked gorgeous.”

The shoot took place on board a yacht decorated with flowers in San Pedro Harbor, Calif., 30 miles south of Los Angeles. Jen wore a knee-length off-white dress and was carrying a matching bouquet for the big scene.

And in smooching news, Jen and co-star Ben Affleck were spotted locking lips — for the cameras, natch! — in additional scenes shot on board the sailing vessel.

“Security was extra tight,” adds the insider. “They were taking a lot of precautions to keep people away and not give away details of the film’s story line. Jen has her own personal security guards on set who follow her everywhere.

Jen, who divorced Brad Pitt in 2005, is still looking for a perfect partner after splitting from Brit model Paul Sculfor. “She was really enjoying the wedding scene,” says the set insider. “Maybe this will spur her into finding the right guy to settle down with and marry for real.”

Brad Pitt’s Decision to Leave Jen

In a new interview with V magazine, Brad Pitt claims he maintains a “deep friendship” with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, 38, and defends how he ended their four-and-a-half year marriage in January 2005. Among his bombshells: that he stifled his attraction to Angelina Jolie, 32, until after he and Aniston had ended the relationship.

“The most important thing about that time was for Jen and me to figure out if – how do I put it? – if we didn’t want to go on without any outside influence,” he tells the magazine of the last days of his marriage, which were marked by media reports of an affair with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar.

“Is this where we got off? Have we taken this as far as we wanted to go?” He concludes, “Those questions had to be answered before an attraction to Angie could be answered.”

Asked if he still approves of how he handled the split, Pitt, 43, saying that protecting all parties involved was most important to him, replies, “I don’t know how better to have handled it…The thing guiding me then was you don’t know how many days you have, and you need life to be everything you need it to be.”
