Baby Spice Emma Bunton welcomed a new, little spice into her life – baby son Beau.
Beau (which means “Beautiful” in French) was born early Friday afternoon and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 15 oz. Oddly enough, it’s the same weight as his father, Bunton boyfriend Jade Jones, a former member of the British boy band Damage, according to Bunton’s London rep, Alan Edwards.

“He is absolutely brilliant, and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca-Cola as we speak,” said Jones. “We are both absolutely delighted and can’t wait to take Beau home.”

This is the first child for both Bunton and Jones, who have been together for eight years. In 2005, the couple moved into a five-bedroom home in Bunton’s native town near London.
