Here’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the world premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night in Hollywood. Don’t ask me what the hell they’re doing, but I’m pretty sure Brad just saw the head.
BRAD: Blue 22. Hike!
ANGELINA: Eeeyah! *pop* What is it?
BRAD: Boy.
ANGELINA: Sweet. Ready to get back inside?
BRAD: Hold up; I want to see if I can spiral it. Go long.

Brad Pitt is putting his money to yet another good cause. On Wednesday, the actor donated $100,000 towards fighting California’s November ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage.
“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” Pitt said.
The actor’s political and philanthropic advisor, Trevor Neilson, told the AP that Brad was surprised his peers in the entertainment industry had not donated more money to support the battle against Prop. 8
Earlier this week, both Pitt and girlfriend Angelina Jolie announced they donated $2 million to fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Ethiopia.

After much hoopla and ballyhoo on the internet Saturday night, it looks like rumors that Brad Pitt, who famously once said that he would get married again when everyone in the United States could also do so, had said “I do” to gal pal, and mother of his children, Angelina Jolie in a ceremony in New Orleans, are just that — rumors.
“Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not married in our chapel, period,” Reverend Anthony “Ambassador of Romance” Talavera, proprietor of the French Quarter Wedding Chapel in New Orleans, where the couple were rumored to have tied the knot, tells OK! exclusively. “I’ve never even met them.”
The good reverend goes on to say that one particular media outlet really wants this story to be true. “Star magazine offered me $3000 for an interview, and I turned them down,” he explains. “I would never divulge any information about any of our clients for money.
Reverend Talavera did say, however, that he is, “delighted that Brad and Angelina have chosen to live in our beautiful city, and I wish them all the happiness in the world, whatever their marital status.”
While there’s been no official denial from the Brangelina camps, when reached for comment on the rumors, Brad’s rep would only say to OK! that she had “no idea” if they were true or not.

Smithville, Texas, is a small, rural town about 29 miles southeast of Austin. And in case you haven’t heard, it’s also the latest “home” for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their growing family. The famous couple and their four children have recently set up shop there while Brad, 44, shoots his latest film, Tree of Life.
Production on the drama is expected to last for at least the next three months. And with sources telling OK! that Angie is around five to six months into her second pregnancy, it looks like the couple’s new baby could be the first Jolie-Pitt to be born on American soil.
Sources tell OK! that Brad and Angelina took great care in choosing the right home for their family. The family reportedly moved into a sprawling 270-acre ranch just outside of Smithville, where they don’t have to worry about being hounded by paparazzi or curious lookie-loos. “Several beautiful properties were offered to Brad and Angelina before they came to Texas,” a source close to the proceedings informs OK!. “But they turned them all down. They were concerned about people being able to see their home — or even their driveway — from the road.”
On Feb. 27, residents spotted “two huge semis, loaded with every toy and child-sized car and truck you could imagine” pulling up to the ranch. With no risk of being interrupted by the media, it seems the family is planning to live happily in Smithville for a quite a while, just as they did in Namibia prior to Shiloh’s 2006 birth there.
A Jolie-Pitt insider tells OK!, “Brad and Angelina love the South. They weren’t expecting to move to Texas for filming, but Angie is all for trying something new. If she could take on Iraq, a little town in Texas should be a piece of cake!”

Angelina Jolie beamed as she strolled down the red carpet at the LA premiere of her new animated movie, Beowulf, on Nov. 5. A few steps behind, Brad Pitt also smiled, seemingly thrilled at the attention Angie was getting.
But later that night, with the cameras and reporters gone, the smiles faded. During the post-premiere party, “everyone was fawning over Angelina,” says an insider. “Brad was just standing around for most of the night. He looked like he was feeling neglected.”
As the night wore on, the insider says, Brad felt so ignored, he turned his attention to an unidentified tall blond woman, who, says the insider, “Brad spent a lot of the night talking to.” Angie “lost it when she saw Brad flirting. Her jaw clenched, and she looked really jealous.”
After a heated argument with Angelina, “Brad was hanging his head like a guy who’d been beaten down,” the insider says. Finally, says the insider, just after midnight, Brad stormed off — and drove to the Peninsula Hotel with the woman and another person, while Angie went home alone. (His rep says Brad wasn’t at the Peninsula then.)
At 4 a.m. on Nov. 6, however, the insider says Brad was spotted leaving the hotel and returned to his Los Feliz, Calif., home. “I don’t know what happened at the hotel,” notes the insider, “but he decided he should go home to Angie. He looked really sullen and downbeat.”

The globe-trotting Jolie-Pitt clan are enjoying their stay in New York City so much, they’re willing to pay top dollar to extend their stay. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have thrown down almost $100,000 a month for a super-ritzy pad at the Waldorf Astoria Towers, reports the New York Post.
The pair, plus their four children, have already begun living in the newly renovated 6,000-square-foot fully-furnished apartment, which boosts six rooms, six bathrooms and a huge kitchen.
“It’s actually grander than the [Towers'] Presidential Suite,” one broker told the Post. Jolie and Pitt like the location because it’s close to the both the United Nations, where Jolie works as a Goodwill Ambassador, and it’s near their eldest son Maddox’s swanky private school.
Residency at Waldorf Astoria Towers also provides everything from room service to magic shows once a week for the kids.
“Everything you ever need is provided, including a tailor,” one source snitched to the Post. “All you literally need to bring is your toothbrush. And they’ll even provide one of those if you forget yours.”

“Whoever said all men are born equal never left his own backyard,” explains Brad Pitt in a new interview with Parade. “I see people everywhere without opportunity. I want to help level the playing field.”
“When I see someone without basic health and education… I feel a connection,” the actor continues. “I could be him, if I’d been born on some other dot on the map.”
In recent years, this handsome philanthropist has spent a good deal of time helping to rebuild hurricane-devastated New Orleans, and he and his charitable gal-pal Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders and another million to Global Action for Children.
On the subject of Angelina, Brad doesn’t take too kindly to the rumors that he only became interested in doing good deeds when the pair became involved in 2005. “That’s idiotic!” he says. “I do it because I’m a member of the human race.”
One thing that is certain is his four children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, are his world. “What’s important to me is that I’ve defined my beliefs and lived according to them and not betrayed them,” he mentions. “One of those is my belief in my family. I still have faith in that.”

One would think that parents at Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s new school, Lycee Francais de New York, would be upset that his famous family is disrupting their schedules. But it turns out it’s the Jolie-Pitts who are being inconvenienced, by Lycee Francais parents who can’t help but ask Brangelina for autographs.
The New York Observer reports that the Lycee’s director of operations, Dan Cooke, had to ask parents to leave Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie alone. He wrote in a letter, “Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made concerted efforts to ensure that the chaos that surrounds them is kept to a minimum when dropping son Maddox, 5, off for classes. Cooke explains in his letter:
“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt. I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.”
A source tells the Observer that the constant attention of the paparazzi (and eager parents) has already had an effect on adopted son Maddox. The normally happy Mad got scared and started to cry when his kindergarten class was asked to bring in a picture of themselves.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are making the most of their time in New York: The high-wattage couple have packed their schedules for Wednesday, meeting with diplomatic and financial leaders to promote various causes.
The first stop of the day… The Clinton Global Initiative, where Pitt asked for support for his Make It Right program. He’s partnering with billionaire Steve Bing on the project, which plans to build 150 affordable – and environmentally sustainable – homes in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. Pitt and Bing have each promised to match donations pledged during the initiative up to $5 million.
In the afternoon… Jolie is slated to attend a press conference with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Antonio Guteres, to talk about a new campaign, Nine Million, aimed at improving education for refugee children around the world.
Then in the evening… Jolie, a Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. refugee agency, is scheduled to speak at a session focused on education for children in war-torn areas such as Darfur and Iraq.
The busy day of high-powered goodwill work is hardly unusual – Pitt is already working with Global Green to create environmentally friendly housing in New Orleans, while Jolie has done extensive work in her role at the United Nations.
In was also announced Tuesday that Jolie would meet with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband in New York to discuss global diplomacy.
And if that’s not enough, Pitt’s doing a little acting, too: He’s filming Burn After Reading, which costars his pal George Clooney.

Brad Pitt talks to Good Morning America’s Diane Sawyer about his family life with Angelina Jolie and reveals: it’s more musical than you may expect.
He tells Sawyer that the family’s morning ritual (which begins as early as 5:45!) often consists of singing. “‘There’s Wheels on the Bus’ and there’s, you know, ‘Five Monkeys Jumping on a Bed’ — no more monkeys jumping on the bed.” Singing the last line of the song he jokes, “that’s a big one….that started at about 6:15 this morning.”
Another Brangelina clan favorite? Dancing. Pitt laughs, “We hope they’re not soaking up our moves because they’d be seriously lacking in their future. We’ll get them some proper training. But yeah, there’s a lot of dancing around the house, a lot of music time.”
At bedtime, Pitt shares quieter rituals with kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1, something he learned to value as a child himself.
“The three of us siblings, we’d jump in our beds, separate rooms, and we’d all be yelling for her [his mom], because she’d take turns coming from room to room, right? And we’d just talk for hours sometimes. Just talk,” he said in a 1997 interview with Sawyer, which she replayed for him.
He explains, “It is a really special time, a time I value and it’s that one-on-one time where you really ask the questions and — and I want to make sure they have that.”
Of course, in addition to raising a family, there’s that little matter of Brad Pitt, international film star. The 43-year-old actor is already earning praise for his role as Jesse James in the new drama The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. How does he manage to do it all?
“Somehow you find this endless well of energy– you just keep going,” he tells Sawyer. “And it’s worth it.”
