Here are new photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at last night’s premiere of Invictus, the film directed by Clint Eastwood (who did Changeling with Jolie last year), starring Morgan Freeman (who did Wanted with Jolie last year) and Matt Damon (who is friends with both Pitt and Jolie). The Brange brought out little Maddox too! Madd looks really cute. Look, he borrowed his daddy’s fedora! And Brad looks like death warmed over. Angelina looks… awake. F-ck, is she wearing a muu-muu? Oh, Angie. Stop it. Find a cocktail dress. So… were they just supporting their friends and colleagues? Or was this rare red carpet appearance something else?

To my eyes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are doing the full court press to combat Ian Halperin’s sketchy book. Although we now have doubts that Angelina gave a new interview to OK! Magazine yesterday, we do know that both Brad and Angelina have been very public this week, going out to dinner with George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis, holding hands and smiling for the cameras, all the while the tabloids are going after blood. I’m not sure if putting Maddox in the line of fire, while clad in a sketchy muu-muu is the answer, but whatever.
