Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet for Inglorious Basterds Wednesday evening in Cannes. Angelina wore Versace – a dress that US Weekly is calling “cream-colored” but looks peachy-beige to me. Maybe it looks different in person? I’m kind of “meh” on the dress, and wearing her hair down isn’t the best look. She looks a little tired, which I can understand. This is a whirlwind trip for her, yesterday in Holland, today in Cannes and tomorrow she’s probably headed back to New York.

Brad wore a classic tuxedo by Tom Ford, a brand he favors. The pictures show a very affectionate couple, but I’m sure there will be some conspiracy theories:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed some PDA at France’s Cannes Film Festival Wednesday.

The couple couldn’t keep their arms off each other on the red carpet for Pitt’s premiere of the Quentin Tarantino flick, Inglourious Basterds.

Pitt held Jolie’s hand as they made their way to the expansive carpet at the Palais Des Festivals. The duo then alternated between wrapping their arms around each other and gazing into each other’s eyes as they posed for the cameras. They never left each other’s sides.

Jolie donned a cream-colored Versace with a slit nearly up to her waist, while Pitt wore a dapper Tom Ford tuxedo.

Last night, Pitt and Jolie — who are staying at the luxe Hotel Du Cap in Antibes — ran into Twilight star Robert Pattinson at a dinner for Basterds.

“They spoke in the hallway. It didn’t seem like they knew each other that well, but the conversation was friendly,” a restaurant source told Usmagazine.com. “Brad shouted back to Rob, ‘Go inside and get something to eat.’ They all seemed happy.”

I wish Brad had yelled “Eat a sandwich and wash your hair for the love of God” at R-Pattz, but alas, Brad isn’t one to talk. Brad pulled it out for this trip, though. His clothes have been quite good, proving my theory that Brad cares a lot more about these red carpets than Angelina. I’m actually a little disappointed with Angelina’s dress. But, hey, at least it’s not black.
