Green Day is the freakin’ shiznit. However, I am confused to why they would come up with such an idea as creating a musical based on their album “American Idiot”.
Come September of this year, Green Day is planning on doing just that…debuting their premiere at the Berkley Repertory Theatre in California.
Billie Joe Armstrong even admits the play is a tad strange telling the New York Times, “It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but that’s what I love about it. When people see it, it’s going to be my wildest dream.”
Should be interesting, to say the least!
