Jessica Alba is expecting – and engaged.

The actress, 26, is set to wed her longtime boyfriend Cash Warren, her rep tells Usmagazine.com.

“Yes, I can confirm that they are engaged,” her rep tells Us.

She flashed the ring during a December 26 outing in West Hollywood.

They will welcome their first child next year.

As Us previously reported, Alba and Warren, 28, had split in July after two-and-a-half years together. They reunited in August, around the time their child was conceived.

“She wanted to get married, but Cash wasn’t ready,” a source told Us regarding the reason for their split.

Though the engagement is on, the wedding might have to wait until after Alba gives birth (she’s about three months along).

A source recently told Us, “She doesn’t want to be pregnant in a dress!”

Actress Mischa Barton, who famously played a law-breaking troubled rich girl on the flash-in-the-pan Fox hit The O.C., has come into some trouble of her own offscreen.

The 21-year-old star was arrested late Wednesday night/Thursday morning in Hollywood for allegedly driving under the influence, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license.

“Her arrest was completed without incident,” Deputy Hugo Macias of the L.A. County Sheriff Department tells OK!. “She was very cooperative.”

Mischa is currently slated to host the New Year’s Eve party at Cathouse in Las Vegas next week. No word yet on whether or not this arrest will put a halt to her hosting duties.

And then there’s Michelle Rodriguez, Kiefer Sutherland… Heck, this year it seems like just about every celebrity has spent a little time in the gray-bar hotel. And if Britney Spears continues her past behaviour in her ongoing custody dispute, sources tell OK! she may very well end up spending some time in lockdown herself.

OK! has confirmed with sources close to the ongoing custody war between Britney and ex-hubby Kevin Federline that the pop star is — once again — scheduled next week to be deposed by K-Fed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. However, as the 25-year-old mother of two has blown off over a half-dozen previously scheduled attempts at being deposed — including two depositions ordered by the court! — many insiders are convinced that she will be a no-show for this one as well. But considering the potentially dire consequences for Brit, she might want to think twice before oversleeping or calling in sick next week.

“She could go to jail for contempt of court if she refuses to show,” one legal eagle confirms to OK!. “That would be extreme for a child custody hearing, but not outside the realm of possibility.” More likely, explains the courtroom insider, K-Fed’s team could ask the court to impose monetary sanctions on Britney, who is already footing the bill for Kevin’s legal expenses!

As things stand right now, barring any more emergency hearings, lawyers for Britney and Kevin are not due back in court until February, with the final custody hearing expected to start April 9.

Britney Spears is taking her love for paparazzi attention to a new level!

Spears reportedly spent early Sunday morning in a Beverly Hills hotel room with a paparazzi photographer who regularly covers the troubled pop star.

According to reports, the pair was holed up in Spears’ room at the Peninsula Hotel until the wee hours of Sunday. The photographer, whose first name is Adnan, departed the hotel at 6 a.m. Sources say Spears left at around 9 a.m. and returned to her nearby home off Mulholland Drive.

But when contacted by Us, the photographer denied any romance, saying, “We are just friends. She was just a little upset, pretty much about everything.”

According to Splash News Online, Spears’ “wild date” began Saturday night with the photographer, who works for the Finalpixx photo agency, handing Spears his business card at a gas station after he heard she “liked” him. Soon after getting his card, Spears contacted him and, after meeting up, the pair was later spotted holding hands at a supermarket.

“After discussing the possibility of him coming into her house she said that her house was too dirty and that she would rather go to a hotel,” Splash reports. “So they changed cars and she went back to her house to freshen up while Adnan parked down the road and waited for her. She then came out in her car and they both drove to an L.A. hotel.”

As of Sunday afternoon, a source says Spears was at her Beverly Hills home with her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

In a ceremony described by guests as a “winter wonderland,” Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl and her musician beau, Josh Kelley, were wed Sunday afternoon in an intimate, fairy-tale ceremony at the Stein Erikson Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah. And OK! was there to bring you the exclusive details!

With tears filling the eyes of the 80 friends and family in attendance inside the white-draped tent, the 29-year-old beauty looked exquisite in her traditional white Oscar De La Renta gown, as she made her way down the aisle to a song, titled “December 23,” written specifically for the ceremony by her waiting groom.

Wanting to keep things simple and elegant, the bride and groom eschewed readings and went straight to exchanging their vows, which were written by the bride and groom, and rings, which Katherine had custom designed for the blessed event.

Supporting Katherine on her most important day was her sister and maid of honor Meg and her three bridesmaids, dressed in cranberry red cocktail dresses, also by Oscar De La Renta.

Josh, who met his bride when she starred in the video for his 2005 single “Only You” was joined by four groomsmen, including Katherine’s Grey’s co-star T.R. Knight, and Josh’s younger brother Charles as best man, all dressed head-to-toe in Tommy Hilfiger.

T.R. wasn’t the only Grey’s cast member there to cheer Katherine on. Also joining their Emmy-winning co-star were Sandra Oh, Kate Walsh (whose wedding was also featured exclusively in OK!) and Justin Chambers.

Guests at the wedding were given gift baskets of Christmas cookies as they arrived at the ceremony, and then later they dined on traditional Christmas fare at the reception.

On Saturday, Katherine and her gal pals celebrated her last day of single-hood with an all-day trip to the spa, complete with gifts from Victoria’s Secret and buckets of champagne from Moet & Chandon.

Fergie is engaged to her boyfriend, actor Josh Duhamel, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

The pair, which Us has learned is currently vacationing near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, were recently photographed looking at a ranch in California that is often rented for weddings.

The 32-year-old “Glamourous” singer (also the lead vocalist for the Black Eyed Peas) has been dating the star of NBC’s Las Vegas, 35, for three years.

“We’re still decorating our house, so I go shopping in the different countries [on my tour] and ship things home, and we open all the boxes together,” she says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

Fergie and Duhamel share a $5 million pad in Los Angeles. She told Us, “We go running around the house like little kids, putting things in different places!”

The couple have been inseparable for some time. “We’re practically married,” Fergie has said.

Fergie’s rep could not be reached for comment.

So can teen mom-to-be salvage her image? Robert Zimmerman, managing director of Middleberg Communications in New York City, says she can! “This is Hollywood. If she raises the child properly and acts like a responsible parent, unlike her sister, then she can continue to have a successful career further down the line,” Zimmerman tells Star. The crisis management expert, who has worked with famous clients such as Diddy and Michael Eisner, also analyzed Jamie Lynn’s decision to announce her pregnancy on a magazine cover and offered up some advice for the young star.

HOW WOULD YOU HAVE ADVISED JAMIE LYNN TO ANNOUNCE HER PREGNANCY?
First I would have consulted with Nickelodeon and her family together. Once we were all on the same page and knowing the media would be all over this because she is Britney’s sister, I would have gone to a trusted veteran news reporter or journalist who could understand both sides of the issue. The she could do a proper sit down interview. I wouldn’t have suggested or recommended my client pose for a magazine cover.

IS IT A GOOD IDEA OR A BAD IDEA TO DO A MAGAZINE COVER TO ANNOUNCE YOU ARE PREGNANT?
Bad idea. I would not have come out with a splashy magazine cover. It is my opinion Jamie Lynn posed for it because she is always referred to as Britney’s little sister and this was a great way to grab the spotlight away from her.

SHOULD JAMIE LYNN ACCEPT ANY MONEY, NOW OR IN THE FUTURE, FOR HER STORY?
Unfortunately, accepting money for baby pictures has become the norm in Hollywood. If she does get money for the first snap shots, as her publicist I’d want her to donate the money to a charity that deals with teenage pregnancy. This will help her image and help girls less fortunate then Jamie Lynn. She should not capitalize on her mistake.

FROM A CRISIS MANAGEMENT STANDPOINT, IS IT A GOOD IDEA OR BAD IDEA FOR JAMIE LYNN TO MARRY THE BABY’S FATHER?
If they are going to get proper family support from both sides and the baby will be raised in an appropriate family environment, unlike her sister’s situation, then yes. However, if this being done just for publicity then no, because it will backfire on them especially if they get divorced. The odds are they will not be together in 5 years because they are so young now and will need time to grow and mature into adults.

IF YOU WERE JAMIE LYNN’S ADVISER, HOW WOULD YOU SOFTEN THINGS?
She should not seen partying and if she is seen in public, she should make sure she’s doing responsible things for the baby. But try and remain out of the limelight as much as possible. No more interviews and don’t talk to any more media.

HOW WOULD YOU ADVISE JAMIE LYNN’S MOM, LYNNE SPEARS?
Lynne should have understood that her younger daughter was looking to garner attention and allowing her to do a magazine cover was irresponsible. There is no way Jamie Lynn could have done this without Lynne’s blessing. Doing this in such a public way was a mistake and Lynn should have known that. Getting paid for this was even worse and questions her skills as a parent. To capitalize on this was a mistake.

WHO WOULD YOU SAY DID A GOOD JOB HANDLING THEIR UNEXPECTED PREGNANCY?
Nicole Richie sat down for a proper interview with Diane Sawyer. She also donated gifts from her baby shower and gave away lots of baby goods to those less fortunate. Nicole’s is a textbook example of the way this situation should be handled.

With only days to go until Christmas, it appears that a grinch may have stolen Britney Spears’ holiday cheer, as the troubled pop star appears to be in the center of yet another downward spiral. But perhaps the newest man in her life can help her out of the hole she’s in.

The latest round of craziness began Saturday night when the singer, wearing the same turquoise top (sans bra) and jeans as the previous day, left her gated community at 7 p.m. and drove to a gas station where, in typical Brit fashion, she used the restroom, where witnesses overheard her unleashing a profanity-filled tirade at her friend Sam Lutfi over her cell phone. And when that unpleasant conversation came to an end, the “Toxic” singer decided to phone up a recording studio to book space. When she was given the bad news that there weren’t any rooms available, witnesses tell OK! she let loose on the poor receptionist, hollering through the phone, “I need a f**ing studio now. Don’t tell me you don’t know who I am. F*** you. I need it now, not tomorrow!”

Brit must have liked her experience at that gas station restroom as she visited two more quickie-mart toilets over the next hour! At one point, the mother of two invited a photographer named Phillipe to join her and her assistant in the car. The young man accepted the invite and spent the next hour or so in the backseat as Britney tooled aimlessly around L.A. in her Mini Cooper, blowing through red light after red light.

Eventually, the trio ended up at Malibu eatery Taverna Tony’s, where Phillipe was given the heave-ho from the car, and where Brit went inside to change into a red top. After a brief stop at the restaurant, the singer and her assistant asked Phillipe to take them to a Target store. And when he told her that Target was closed, she responded with, “I don’t care. Take me there anyway.”

Britney Spears squeezed in a last minute holiday shopping spree at a West Hollywood Rite Aid on Friday.

Heading straight to the Christmas aisle, “she grabbed a cart and just started loading it up with stuff,” an eyewitness told Usmagazine.com of the pop singer, 26, who was with her new assistant.

What did she score?

A $29.99 giant stuffed horse, a sweatshirt, Christmas candy, a football and a box of Lucky Charms, as well as some other smaller toys. She loaded the goods into her car herself.

Spears, Us’ Worst Dressed Celeb of the Year, must’ve worked up an appetite.

Around 1:15 a.m., she hit Miyagi’s Japanese restaurant in West Hollywood, where she sat in the main bar area on the first floor to place her order.

Miyagi’s manager Gator Lee told Us: “The kitchen was closed so I informed her we could make her sushi. She asked for chicken and shrimp tempura.

“She asked me if I could get her lighter for her from her car, which I did,” Lee said. “When I got back, I offered to move her to a private room, but she didn’t want to move. She said, ‘I’m fine.’”

Bored while waiting, Spears wandered up to the third floor of the restaurant. “Everyone at the bar turned around and stared at her, but she didn’t seem to mind,” Lee said. “She smiled and seemed happy.”

Spears (who only drank water) took a few bites of her meal before having it wrapped up.

“She was real chill and just sat in the corner,” her server told Us of the singer, who had a meltdown this year. “I told her right before she was leaving, ‘Whatever doesn’t destroy you makes you stronger.’” She smiled and said, ‘I know.’”

On Saturday, Spears stayed home all day until around 8:20 p.m. when she popped by the Beverly Hills Hotel for 15 minutes. She then dined at Taverna Tony’s, a Greek restaurant in Malibu, with a female companion.

Still no word on how Spears will celebrate Christmas.

Things are even more hectic than usual for Britney Spears. On Thursday, after spending a cozy afternoon at her Beverly Hills home with sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, the singer scheduled – then canceled – a session at Millennium Dance Complex.

“She wanted to try out a new dance routine,” says a source. But, in the wake of her 16-year-old sister’s surprise pregnancy announcement, the studio was swarmed by hoards of photographers.

When Spears, 26 – who had been kept in the dark about the baby news until the story broke on Tuesday – saw the crowd, “she freaked out and just kept driving,” says the source, who was on the scene.

“Britney said that she doesn’t want to deal with the media because she is still shocked [about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy news],” adds the source. “She feels that she needs peace and quiet.”

Spears, however, was friendly with the photogs during a shopping trip after the scene. Although the area offers plenty of great shops, Spears stopped at a random souvenir store on Hollywood Boulevard, where she picked up (and posed with) a Tinkerbell T-shirt and a pink bedazzled onesie.

On the way home, Spears also hit Carl’s JR for a late night snack: cheeseburger with a large fries and coke.
